This was taken in Hunts Point Nova Scotia,on a sunny day late afternoon.

What were your feelings or impressions when taking this photo of sea glass?

When I took this photo, I thought how I love my new addiction of sea glass hunting.

What kind of camera and/or lens did you use?

I only used my samsung galaxy camera for this picture.

Where was this photo taken?

Sidney, BC, Canada

Weather and time of day?

Early morning on a Sunday there was a low tide.

Found about the half way mark between high/low tide.

What were your feelings or impressions when taking this photo?

Pure awe, I've found small nuggets of lavender and deep purples but nothing of this size!

I actually had a lady come up multiple times to ask to see it.

We had both been hunting at this beach for roughly twenty years, couldn't believe it was just sitting there waiting for me to scoop it up.

What kind of camera and/or lens did you use?


What tips do you have for taking good photos of sea glass?

Never assume it's not a great find without further investigating!

I swore this was a salty rock until I dipped it in the ocean and held it to the sunlight!
