The Laughing Otter - Painting on Sea Glass

~ sea glass project submitted by Rosie Nicolson

Hello David and Lin,

Some time ago I wrote to you about painting seaglass.

I have been practising and this is my best effort. The Laughing Otter!.

The painting on the sea glass is preserved with a satin varnish.

I tried Acrylic gloss on the finished painting but it was too shinny and gobby.

I only do the actual painting (not the wire wrapping or jewelry).

Best wishes from Rosie

Nice job Rosie.

I wire wrap sea glass and have also painted on a few pieces.

Try wrapping the glass yourself so you can double your artistic pleasure.

Please post more of your art.
