Name of Beach:
Seahurst Park
Nearest Town:
Burien, Washington
Describe the beach and your sea glass finds:
Excellent sea glass finding (see box below), many colors from light yellow, light pink, bright green and many shades of green. Definite jewelry quality, also found plenty of agates. Well rounded and frosted about 15+ an hour we found
Easy access to the beach, beach runs north to south. Beach combing to the south of Picnic area, becomes private beach property. Their are signs posted, I don't agree with those rules, beaches should be for all to enjoy , not just the home owner. So my friend and I just continue on down the beach and we have never been approached by an disgruntled home owner or asked to leave.
~ beach report submitted by Tricia Hardman Map of Seahurst Park area of Washington: View Larger Map We appreciate this report - and all reports we receive. However, when evaluating a report, use good judgment. Note: - No photos were included with this report, so quality of glass found is not confirmed.
- Beach is located within an enclosed body of water as shown on the map (Puget Sound). We have never seen jewelry-quality sea glass from the Puget Sound and would appreciate photos if someone has ever found any .
