Sea Glass Sea Gull from New Zealand

Sea Glass Sea Gull from New Zealand

"Hi. Isn`t the internet amazing?

I live `down under` in New Zealand & had no idea there were dedicated websites for beach glass gatherers!!

This is something I made with all `found` objects when we lived at the beach for 2 years -  old chopping board complete with rope, glass, shells & broken mirror.

The only part of this piece that is sea glass is the bird & it was fun (& time consuming!) to get the right pieces.

I have some other craft items with beach glass I may add later.

Thanks for all the wonderful ideas - it makes me smile when I think of other people collecting bits of broken glass too! (But they are so gorgeous - we call them beach gems!)"
