Where was this photo taken?


I took this photo on my deck on an amazingly warm sunny February day in Port Orchard, Washington.

Date, time of day, and weather conditions?

It's nearly 60 degrees today!

What were your feelings or impressions when taking this photo of sea glass?

I was amazed when I picked this piece up off my beach that it wasn't brown like I expected!

It is very thick and heavy, definitely not a tail light.

 I think it must be an old bottom of a Schlitz beer bottle from the 1950's when they used red glass for their beer bottles.

If you zoom in, you can see the details in this piece, really stunning.

I tried to capture the sun shining through it directly, and I accomplished that partly.

I love this piece, not sure what I'm going to do with it, but I'll think of something!

What kind of camera and/or lens did you use?

I took this with my cell phone!
