Sea Glass Piled Up
Closer view of sea glass
Lin and I hiked around 7 miles to find this pile of sea glass.
Was it worth it? You bet!
Buried in there is also a marble Lin found plus at least 6 reds (most are tiny).
We met a number of other sea glass lovers including a man from Ireland and the the woman has has Echo Artworks in Bremerton, WA; also a nice woman named Laura along with several others and had really enjoyable conversations.
I apologize to all of you for forgetting your names.
I'm just so bad remembering names these days (not that I was ever that good at it).
Oh, well!
It used to be I got embarrassed when I forgot someone's name. Now I'm at the age where no one expects me to remember anyway.
Except for my wife.
Lin is looking at the finds here behind me and says, "Hey, we found some cool pieces of pottery today," along with peach, yellow, and some other unusual colors of sea glass.
We just got home and I put everything in a strainer, rinsed it, dumped in a dish, put it under lights, and snapped this photo.
Unfortunately, we don't have a big enough plate to spread it all out, so the marble was buried somewhere.
