Sharon sells seashells by the seashore, my passion for treasures from the sea, along with vintage finds from the past combined to add a touch of whimsy to your home.
I love beach combing, the hunt for antiques and vintage treasures to re-purpose into Shabby Chic Beach Decor for your home or ocean get away.
Sharon includes the following designs:
- I use my sea glass collection to create key rings, purse or zipper charms, and pendants.
- I also combine it for my
Sea Glass Starfish Jewels,(a white starfish with wire wrapped sea glass and glass beads).
- Included in my Vintage Collection, are old bottles and jars, some enhanced with sea shells, bits of ribbon or vintage jewelry and mirrors of all shapes and sizes, encrusted with sea shells.
Background:
I have loved beach combing since I was a child, having had only the opportunity on summer vacations in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
and usually leaving behind all my treasures.
Since I have had a home here at the Delaware Beaches for the last 8 years, I have become obsessed with beach combing and collecting shells and sea glass, along with my passion for vintage finds from antique shops, flea markets and thrift shops.
The Sea Glass
I have found the majority of my sea glass walking the various beaches in the Caribbean.
My husband and I have done a lot of traveling and beach comb at every chance I get, so I have been able to add some sea glass to my collection from Italy, Scotland, Spain and a few pieces from the Baltic Sea. And then there are my "secret local spots" here in Delaware and the Chesapeake Bay.

I do not have a shop, although I would love to find a local shop that would feature my designs.
I have done some art/craft fairs, the latest one being the Mid Atlantic Sea Glass and Coastal Art Festival in June and will plan to do another in the fall.
Sea Hag Cottage is now on Etsy! Please go to www.etsy.com and search Sea Hag Cottage, under shops. I have some sea glass items along with coastal cottage and vintage home decor. I will continue to add more sea glass in the future.
