Leo Carrillo Sea Glass Repot NEW
by: Anonymous

There was a lot of sea glass in a little rocky cove near the cave, however it was all very small pieces. The largest piece I found was a little over half an inch. I did end up finding two small pieces of cobalt blue sea glass, the rest was common colors.

Hello all, Have found some decent pieces at Leo Cabrillo Beach... my prize was a nice size cobalt blue!

Other than that, small pieces... have to go south a bit, not too much near rocky coastline.

Very small pieces, common colors

I have looked for glass on this beach maybe a dozen times and have only ever come away with tiny little pieces (less than the size of a pea).

If you spend some time, you can collect a small batch of it.

It is a beautiful beach and there are great tide pools there and a neat sea cave, but it is not great for glass hunting.
