Is this sea glass?

This was found this morning on the shore at Hatteras Village and I’m unsure if it is sea glass or not? Can anyone tell from this picture? Thanks so much.



Hi Dena,

From the photo it is not possible to make a positive identification. Offhand, we think it is not sea glass due to the opaque look. However, that might just be the photo lighting.

Hard to tell, hold it to the light or window, any change? Could be pottery? Nice find worth keeping! Thanks for sharing.
