Geometric Pottery on Coney Island Beach
by Emma Walgren
(Brooklyn, NY, USA)
I originally thought it was a really interesting shell pattern, but after taking it home I realized it's actually a piece of pottery! The edges are pretty worn down so I assume it's reasonably old, and the brown etching (?) seems to depict stairs, part of a building, and a bush. It's reasonably small (bottle shard also found at the beach for scale) with no other identifying features in the back.
