Feb 2018 Sea Glass Durban South Africa

Durban South Africa

Durban South Africa

I work with the Children living on the streets of Durban.

They collect sea glass and we use it for arts & crafts.

They are looking to sell what they have collected in order to earn an income and get off the streets.

These boys are decent teenagers who fell on hard times but do not do drugs or crime to survive.

This is this weeks collection found on Durban's beach front:

Purchasing treasures
by: Jamison F

I love what these children and young adults are doing. Please continue to encourage their creativity. Hundreds, if not thousands, of people will help support their cause by buying their treasures. Get busy posting their photos so we can help! This should be very exciting for them. God bless you for your efforts.

Street Children Crafts
by: Gabs

Good morning all. The Children living on the streets make items such as mosiac crosses, but use sea glass in place of tiles. We also use the sea glass to make jewellery and sun catchers.

Will provide some photos next time. Thank you for asking. Have a great week.
