Pitted Sea Glass?

This piece of deeply pitted sea glass was found in an old tip area on Vancouver Island. 

I do not think it is bonfire glass

It certainly is like nothing else I have ever seen. 

Interesting piece, nonetheless, and a beautiful shade of green.
