This photo was taken on a beach in Michigan on January 21, 2012.
It was an unseasonably warm day for Northern Michigan and we were excited to be on a beach glass hunt in January!!
What were your feelings or impressions when taking this photo?
We were so excited when we found our "beached whale". We can't help but wonder what it was originally and how it turned out to be such a unique shape!
I used a Canon S95 for this photo.

This picture was taken at my home.
I try to think how old these pieces are and what they came from. The clear piece is approx. 3/4" thick. The other piece is a beautiful greenish-blue in color and approx. 1 3/8" long. Both are very frosted.
For this photograph, I used an Olympus FE-170 camera.
Tips or suggestions I would have for taking good photos: Keep shooting until you get picture you are satisfied with.
