I found this dear little heart shaped piece of yellow and white layered art glass on Pentewan beach, Cornwall, UK

Date, time of day, and weather conditions?

March 19th 2015, on a beautiful sunny Spring morning

What were your feelings or impressions when taking this photo of sea glass?

Such a lovely little heart, I just had to record such a precious find!

What kind of camera and/or lens did you use?

Just my little Nikon compact.

What tips do you have for taking good photos of sea glass?

None at this time.

Living in Cornwall for over 50 years, I have found sea glass on almost every beach in Cornwall, more prolific on the North coast where the sea is rougher, but every beach has produced some.

On a trip to England last summer I found loads of sea glass in Palperro, Cornwall

We found a wide variety of pieces, mostly clear, brown, and green, with some shades of blue, ranging in quality from craft to jewellery grade.

Most were very well frosted, though about half had small chips
