This is a collection of sea glass that were found by a friend in England.

This is a collection of sea glass that were found by a friend in England.

I enjoy taking photos of sea glass and count this as one of our family favorites.

A simple digital Canon PowerShot camera was used.

The challenge with most of my sea glass photos is trying to catch the right natural lighting.

 I find that taking photos an hour or two before the sun sets is ideal.

These pieces were found by my friend Becky on Lake Worth Beach, Fl.

When another friend, Mavis, was taking pictures of the collection, this one ended up looking like an angel!

"I am the one who found the seaglass and hapharzardly arranged these green pieces the day my friend Mavis took the pictures.

"I never saw the angel while arranging the pieces but of course saw the angel when I held the photograph. Amazing experience.

"I am touched that this photo was chosen for the may contest."

  • sea glass,
  • beach china,
  • driftwood,
  • whelk shells,
  • old soda can tab,
  • wallpaper fragment,
  • irish moss seaweed,
  • part of a corn cob,
  • coal, and
  • 2 peculiar knobs.
