Glass Shard Identification?

Glass Shard Identification?

~ sea glass identification question submitted by David J Coogan in Maryland, USA

It's a small piece I found in the Elk River in Cecil County, Md.

It's clear glass with a picture of a mans face wearing a hat the looks to be from the 30s.

It also has the letters SCION on it. It looks like it may have had more letters on it.

I thought it looked interesting so I want to find out more about it if possible.

Want to find out what type of container it came from and its value.

Thanks!!

by: Dave B. (dbb1000)

WOW that is an old sea glass piece dude!

That is from a "Scott's Emulsion" bottle.

Go to this link and scroll down until you see the bottle!

Your glass shard has "LSION" and the top of the guy's head showing. I believe this is a great find!
