Hi,

I was so excited to hear that I wasn't the only sea glass and shell freak.

I grew up in Carpinteria Ca.

I am 54 and have been collecting for many years.

My 22 yr old son passed away in 2007.

I think thats when I found the sea glass searching helpful with my grief process.

Iv'e been known to hunt for 3-5 hrs a day.

My back aching from a heavy back pack, on my hands and knees searching but, enjoying every moment.

I'm so looking forward to march 8th and going to the sea glass festival.

I scan beaches from Carpenteria up the coast. I di have my favorite and found the most interesting peice yesterday.

So.. Im now hooked on your site.

I will post pics and let you know of all the unusual things I've found on my ventures.
