We came across this ideal porch when hiking down the beach on Whidbey Island, Washington, part of the San Juan Islands near the Pacific Ocean.

How the nice bench got there is a question, as the nearest house is quite a ways away.

We were impressed with some of the really heavy pieces used - it must have taken several people together to move them into position.
