Hi,
Lin Schneider Pitches In:
Well folks,
I'm sure a lot of you are out enjoying the beaches this weekend and finding treasures. We would love to see what you find, so send in the pics!
We've kind of sidetracked lately with some medical stuff and haven't gotten to the beach in over 3 weeks but hopefully maybe a trip tomorrow. Since spending a lot of time in bed and with not much to do (caught up on my reading), I've come up with a lot of ideas that we hopefully can implement into the site over the next coming months.
I'd like to do an on-the-spot, mistakes-and-all tutorial on drilling sea glass and I also want to make a stab at PMC clay and sea glass and would like to do an experience tutorial with the good, bad, and ugly results included and share them with you. I don't know about anyone else but I need to see things in order to put them into practice. Reading instructions has never been my forte. My mom says it's because I'm left-handed and she should know because she's left-handed as well.
The trick is going to be trying to squeeze in the time between having to work for a living, volunteer work, and health. I'm sure a lot of sea glass folks out there can relate.
Anywho, Josh and fam will be coming down for a visit somewhere in-between December and February, and we plan on visiting beaches up and down the coast. They'll be surfing but we'll be looking for the sea glass! Can't wait to check out some new places.
So enjoy the upcoming summer months, the fresh air, the warm weather, and best of all, time with your families.
Take care,
Lin
