your Odyssey Sea Glass News, Issue #034 Sun, sun, sun, sun... April 16, 2010 |
|||
Hi, Greetings from Lin and me. We are back in Peru. Daughter Kelsey was happily married off last Saturday, and I got to give her wedding talk! I didn't cry like I expected. But at the end I pulled out a huge brightly-colored silk scarf to wipe my eyes, just to add some comic relief. Those who know me laughed. Those who didn't (husband's side of family) didn't know what to think. This is the end of summer here in N. Peru. It is too hot even for us warm weather addicts. When I got up at 6:30 this morning, it was 87 degrees in the house. And no air conditioned rooms. Great for the beach though!!! We'd like to say hello to our intrepid visitors (sounds good, does anyone know what it means) from some of the more exotic countries in the world. So far in our newsletter we have sent greetings to 49 countries that visit this site, so now we break the 50 mark! Today we say hello to you sea glass fans in Bahrain (Gowwa), Uzbekistan (Salaam aleikhem), and Belize (hello). We hope you are enjoying the hunt as much as we are! Note: If you don't have time to browse all the entries below, be sure to take a look at Apr 5, 2010, Saturday beach glass fun for some fantastic sea glass!
