Hello All,
Fall is in the air...more like winter is in the air for many of us. I think the weathermen (I guess I should say weather persons) here in the Puget Sound area of Washington have it harder than a lot of places. I don't know, though. But it seems like the weather coming in off the the Pacific here likes to mess with the W-persons' minds. They have been caught off-guard so many times that they tend to overreact. Like calling for mild weather and getting hit with 2 feet of snow. Or unexpected flooding. Now, they want to call their worst shots just to cover themselves. So last week we heard that we might get snow this Sunday (tomorrow) which would be quite early here. However, within a couple of days, that prediction just kind of slipped into the oblivion, and now it's the usual...50 degrees F and rainy. We'll do a little catching up with some good posts from viewers and one or two new articles from our offices (72nd floor Umpire State Building) a little further down this letter.
Now, to say hello to our visitors from non-English speaking countries who have the courage and fortitude to wade through a site on sea glass...in English.
As I speak (or rather, write) I see that viewing our site at this exact moment are...you folks in Puerto Rico (Muy buenas noches de parte de Linda y David and I know you probably speak English anyway), Portugal (como vai), and Singapore (Jia ba liao buay). Now, if I got those wrong, I hope you'll let me know, 'cause I got them off the net...except the Spanish, my #2 language.

Here is a little reminder to check out the upload features on "Catch of the Day,", where you can contribute your photos on what you find at the beach today (tonight, tomorrow, whatever). It works so smooooooth.
If you have more than one photo you would like to share, feel free to send us an email by clicking on the pic of us above.
For this week, we would invite any of you to share a short story of your beach impressions (funny, sad, or exciting) and get a link to the website or blog of your choice.
