your Odyssey Sea Glass News, Issue #014 -- The Heat is On... July 24, 2009 |
||
Hello All, Last week, we started the newsletter: "Up here near the Canadian border where Lin and I reside, we don't usually have many days of "summer" weather, but this year is looking good!" Well, that is if you like very warm weather. Fortunately, Lin and I do! The warm weather has continued, and the weather report is actually calling for rather warmer weather in the upper 80's and into the 90's in the days ahead. This is pretty much UNHEARD of here in the Pacific Northwest. Of course, for those of you on the East Coast, it is the norm of many balmy summers! This week we would like to extend a warm welcome to our visitors from other countries, focusing on y'all in Greece (Geia sou), Japan (konnichi wa, Maido ookini, Ohayo-sama), and Mexico (Buenos dias, hola, que tal) . ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AS we announced last week, we have posted several pages of sea glass for sale, mostly matched pairs of sea glass pieces great for earrings, buttons, etc. Click here. We do have another 30 or so articles that will be posting as soon as they are priced. Then, if I can figure out how to do a sales price change on PayPal, we will have a big opening sale, perhaps TWO for the price of ONE. Keep your eyes on the blog! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is a little reminder to check out the upload feature on "Catch of the Day", where you can contribute your photos on what you find today at the beach. And we look forward to seeing your beach reports, crafts stories, and photos on "Your FUN Page". Note the new "Beach People" photos upload below. Check it out! _____________________For those of you who have just recently signed up, this newsletter is an update on the new features and changes in the last couple of weeks.
