Rated Poor: I was there for two hours and only found two pieces, both of which were barely frosted over and still a little sharp

No, there is sea glass
by: Anonymous

Actually, there is plenty of sea glass in San Diego, but you have to know where to look.

I am not posting any of my secret area's, but you would be disappointed with the browns, whites, and various shades of green you would find, having been to old landfills and such.

Also, you most likely believed the fact that there are no abandoned coastal landfills near San Diego, so no sea glass.

If you put me in the right spot at OB, I might be able to find 15 pieces, all frosted and non-sharp.

Ocean Beach Park, CA

Thank you for letting me know that is not a good place to hunt for sea glass. Does anyone know of a good beach around Newport Beach, CA? I am visiting my son there in July and plan on combing some beaches in that area?
