Nice Finds

May 2018. Key Box Beach, Delaware

Went to Key Box Beach, a wide expanse of beach on the ocean side of Delaware Seashore State Park - just south Dewey City, DE along DE Highway 1.

The sand was soft and wide with plenty of room to search. Most pieces were found several yards from where the tips of water reached before heading back out to sea.

Found over 30 pieces in a little over an hour. Most were brown with some white and green. Two finds were extra special - there was one turquoise piece and one lavender piece, both with diameters wider than a US half dollar coin.

All were smooth edged and with a couple exceptions, well frosted.

Take a look.

Will definitely return for a longer broader search.
