Hi everyone,

I'm going to a popular beach in Brigantine, NJ.

I don't think there are dump sites on the beach and it' s not that dirty, so I was wondering if i can find sea glass.

Oh yeah, the waves also can be pretty rough.
thanks,

Emmy

As a long time Brigantine-goer, I will tell you that you won't find ANY on the public beaches.

I tell friends to go to the north end for amazing shells after storms. They don't clean the beaches up there because it is a wild-life sanctuary. But, even there, I have found little in the way of sea glass.

The sand is really fine and powdery in Brigantine, and at other South Jersey beaches. I would suggest going further north. Think about the pebbly North Jersey beaches that may get glass from the legendary Staten Island Dump.
