Algarrobo Sea Glass, Spain

Algarrobo Sea Glass, Spain

Name of the Beach: Algarrobo Beach

City nearest to that beach: Malaga

The state, country, or island where the beach is: Spain

Some lovely finds, lots of kelly green and white but a fair amount of sea foam, amber and yellow.

I also found lots of lovely pottery and pretty rocks.

The sea glass was mostly frosted and well-rounded, I returned any pieces that needed more smoothing.

Mostly smaller pieces but good quality and pretty.

There is a nice bar on the beach for a post walk beer!

From Wikipedia: "Algarrobo is a town and municipality in the province of Málaga, part of the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. The municipality is situated in the coastal area of La Axarquía, 32 kilometers from the city of Málaga."

Pottery pieces
by: David

Take a look at our store for what can be made out of the pottery pieces. Go to The menu at the top of this page and choose SHOP. Then see the photos on Pottery.

Also, use the search box near the top of the page and enter "pottery" for some ideas.

Happy hunting!

Sea glass in Algarrobo
by: Jill

I am staying in Algarrobo now, so tomorrow I am going hunting for the first time ever for the beautiful sea glass.
What do people do with the pottery pieces.

Will post again tomorrow to say how it went.

Looking at photos of this beach, looks like a perfect area for sea glass, as you found out.

Very nice!
